Hasten Your Word to perform it

In Jeremiah 1:11-12 it says that God hastens His Word to perform it. As we heard last week that there may be some things that delay our prayers - things that are outside of our control, there are however, some things that are inside of our control that we do not have to wait very long for. For those things that are inside our control (our spiritual rights), we can ask God to hasten (quicken) His Word to perform it according to Jeremiah 1:12.

What are those things that we can ask God to quicken?

1. Healing - To be healed is our God-given right and part of our redemption. We have a right to be healed. In fact the Bible says that we are already healed (1 Pet 2:24). If we are already healed then we are not trying to 'get' healed. We are resisting getting sick. When it comes to healing, God is quick to perform His Word, so place a demand for healing. Receive what God has done for you and refuse to let go until you see it. A lack of manifestation is not God's delay but a spiritual block or a lack of our own faith.

2. Prosperity - Just like healing, our provision and prosperity is part of the atonement. It is our right to have all that we need and more to be able to give to every good work (2 Cor 9:8). Poverty is part of the curse and we are not under the curse. When it comes to prosperity we can expect God to hasten His Word to perform it. If there is lack in our lives we have a right to demand that it goes and command prosperity to come. God will hasten His Word to perform it according to our faith. So get your faith up for prosperity by getting your Word levels up and command it to come!

3. Favour - The Bible says that we will have favour with God and with man (Pro 3:4). It is God's will that we have good success (Jos 1:8). You can ask God to hasten His Word to perform favour with others, open doors and promotion for you.

4. Children - Your children are under your control and thus under your authority. You have every legal right to demand their well-being and success. You can take authority over your children's lives and command for good things to happen to them and also command the devil to get his hands off of anything that pertains to them.

Knowing our rights enables us to have boldness when we pray. Indeed it says in 1 John 5:14, that we can be confident when we pray, that He will give us what we pray for if it is according to His will.

The only reason we may not be confident in our prayers is because we do not know His will.

If we do not fully know our legal (spiritual) rights when it comes to the Word then we lose out. The Bible says that people perish because a lack of knowledge (Hos 4:6).

Where are you lacking today? That may be the area that you need to replenish the Word and then demand God to quicken it! God says, 'Concerrning the works of my hands command ye me.' (Is 45:11)
